Job Description 

The Production Manager is responsible for the leadership and direction of manufacturing. This role will develop and implement methods of manufacturing, procedures and processes that result in improved safety, quality, delivery, cost and employee engagement. 

Job Responsibilities 

  • Ensuring safe processes and actions within the product line 

  • Increasing manufacturing productivity and efficiency 

  • Supervising and developing associates through training and career coaching 

  • Leading work groups for performance improvement 

  • Applying work procedures and keeping them up to date and compliant 

  • Supervising time and attendance and balances workforce between shifts

  • Lead plant production and maintenance processes. 

  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards. 

  • Work closely with the Management Team to maintain a safe and highly efficient manufacturing environment. 

  • Set standards and implement all maintenance in area of responsibility. 

  • Perform other duties as assigned and/or required.

  • Organizing, planning, and implementing process in order to meet company’s goals.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Engineering or related field

  • 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment 

  • 3 years in management role

  • Strong people management skills and team building

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
