Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Analyze bid opportunities and summarize bid technical requirements

  • Create and develop proposal material such as proposal documents, price sheets, bid forms, and response package to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs

  • Obtain competitive quotes or special prices from vendors or manufacturers

  • Maintain the bid calendar/due dates and manage project boards

  • Review bid submission package to ensure bid response is complete and organized in high quality prior to submission

  • Keep bid files organized in accordance with company’s record keeping system

  • Process sales orders/purchase orders for existing contracts

  • Assist the management with assigned administrative duties.


Education and/or Experience Required

  • At least three years of experience in business development or equivalent

  • Completed Bachelor’s degree

  • Prior experience with government bids/contracts is a plus.



  • ​​​​​​​​​​​Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Adobe PDF

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Detailed, logical, and methodological approach to problem-solving

  • Ability to multi-task and work independently as well as part of a team

  • Strong organizational and task management skills

  • Careful attention to detail and high standards for work quality

  • Demonstrated initiative and can-do attitude

  • Ability to work under pressure to ensure deadlines are met.
